Bat Oiling Service

Oiling only, for an uncovered willow bat that you intend to knock in yourself.

• Two to three thin coats of raw linseed oil to the face, edges and toe — never the splice or the labels — each left to dry before the next.
• Not applied to bats supplied with an anti-scuff face sheet, which must not be oiled.

Add this to the same order as the bat; it is carried out before dispatch. If you want the bat playable on arrival, choose the knocking and oiling service instead — oil on its own does not prepare a blade for a hard ball.
