Bat Knocking & Oiling Service

We knock in and oil your new bat before it leaves us, so it arrives ready for throw-downs instead of needing four to six hours of mallet work first.

• Machine knocking across the full face, with extra work along the edges and around the toe — the parts that fail first.
• Two to three thin coats of raw linseed oil on the face, edges and toe of uncovered bats. Bats supplied with an anti-scuff face sheet are knocked in but not oiled; oil under a sheet makes willow soggy and dead.

Add this to the same order as the bat. It is carried out before dispatch, so allow a little extra time on the delivery estimate. It cannot be bought on its own, and we cannot service a bat you already own.
